TEDxTucson present [r]evolution

Would you say our understanding of our world is evolving, or are we in the midst of a revolution of unverifiable theories?

For TEDxTucson 2019, we’re on the quest to understand our ever-changing world. Things are changing at an astonishing rate, and we are asking more prominent, more profound, more challenging questions.

Through scientific collaboration, humans have discovered processes that shape the world around us. This knowledge enables us to understand subtle patterns and to predict unseen phenomena. We can ask, “What process defines the origin of the atoms that make up all matter?” or, “How does the origin of stars and planets fit in with the evolution of galaxies?” and finally, “How did the revolutionary concept of evolution help us understand the development of life itself?”

Join us on Saturday, January 19, 2019, to explore these “ideas worth spreading” at our day-long TEDxTucson Conference at the Berger Theater. Spend a day to explore the most profound scientific and psychological insights, the latest medical advances, the neatest inventions, all mixed with a dose of ancient wisdom, and to ask the questions about ourselves that we often don’t have time to ask.
